Each year, the University President, Provost, and Chancellor confer degrees at the University Commencement Ceremony. The conferral, or awarding, of degrees is when the degree is technically completed and graduation occurs.
We are working to create a seamless viewing experience for all viewers. There will be a link provided on this website. The event is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.

Yes, we will have closed captioning available for the Virtual Degree Conferral Ceremony.
We are very hopeful that conditions will allow graduates, families, and friends to gather on campus on August 7. We also hope to hold Honors Convocation and Baccalaureate Mass on Thursday, August 6. The Office of Campus Activities is working on a plan for a Senior Gala, which we hope to offer Wednesday, August 5. There are other activities typically associated with Commencement, such as Phi Beta Kappa induction, that we are also mindful of and will share information about when it is available. We are monitoring public health advisories and will endeavor to provide up-to-date information so that travel plans may be made.
Please visit the Oak Hall website to order regalia. The deadline for orders is July 24, 2020. Graduates who purchased regalia and diploma frames at the Grad Fair in March, but did not pick them up, should email a copy of their receipt to Kim Allen and your items will be shipped to your residence.
