Baccalaureate Mass is a time to give thanks and reflect on one’s academic experience at Catholic University. It is an important spiritual component of our annual commencement activities. Please note that there is a limited number of seats for this celebration. Please see details below.

Baccalaureate Instructions:
  • Graduate check-in begins at 3:00pm and ends at 3:50pm. (Ten minutes before Mass begins)
  • You must enter the Basilica at the Lower level East Entrance in the front of the Basilica.
  • Facial covering is required.
  • Academic gown is required. The cap should not be worn by men during the Mass. Wearing the cap is optional for women.
  • There is no academic procession.  
  • Graduates must follow the instructions of the ushers to be seated. There is no cluster or unit seating.
  • Ushers will guide you as you exit the building
